About Age Concern Ealing
Age Concern Ealing was formed in October 2003 following the merger of four local Age Concern organisations - Acton, Age Concern Ealing Borough, Age Concern Ealing Central and Hanwell.
It is a registered charity (Charity Number 1100474) and a company limited by guarantee (Company Number 4666730).
It is a member of Age Concern Federation, which supports the work of 400 independent charities across England.
The Age Concern Federation has developed its own quality assurance framework, the Quality Counts programme, which sets the quality assurance standards for the organisation and which all members of the Federation must implement. Members are expected to fulfil the following four core functions (i) Service and Support (ii) Public Education and Social Advocacy (iii) Innovation and Research and (iv) partnership and Co-operation.
