SOCIAL CENTRES
About Our Day Services
Our Acton and West Ealing Day Centres offer three types of placement: social contact for older people who want to make new friends and may be socially isolated; a respite placement of a few days a week to support carers; rehabilitation for people who have left hospital or need help maintaining their level of independence following a fall. We provide a variety of services: every lunchtime, we serve a freshly cooked, nutritious meal; our members participate in light exercises, trips to restaurants, annual holidays, talks and music appreciation classes. We can help you to:
- Have a better life through participating in and developing interests, forming friendships and participating within the community.
- Access to a diverse range of preventative services.
- Access good quality information, advice and advocacy services.
- Regain independence and recover your health and mobility though rehabilitation and day care services.
- Access educational opportunities and learn new skills.
- Maintain good health for longer
